Christina Adkins

Christina Adkins is a compassionate therapist who works with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, crisis, and major life transitions. She specializes in solution focused therapy, mood disorder treatment, addiction, crisis intervention, trauma recovery, and domestic violence and sexual abuse advocacy, and she is particularly experienced in supporting individuals impacted by trauma later in life. Christina provides services for adults ages 18 and older and offers a steady, respectful space for clients moving through the complexities of adulthood.

Christina’s approach is grounded in cognitive-based therapy, motivational interviewing, strength-based perspectives, and behavioral activation, always meeting clients where they are in their journey. She believes healing is deeply personal and collaborative, and her work is shaped by warmth, thoughtful challenge, and deep respect for each client’s lived experience.

When clients desire, Christina integrates faith into the therapeutic process in a meaningful and clinically grounded way. She offers biblically informed counseling that reflects values of grace, forgiveness, redemption, and identity, while honoring each client’s pace and autonomy. Her work blends professional clinical care with compassionate faith-based support.

Christina is known for her ability to listen deeply, foster trust, and create a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can show up fully and honestly. She is committed to walking alongside clients with patience, care, and consistency, offering support for as long as the journey requires.

Christina Adkins is currently accepting new clients and is paneled with commercial Anthem and Aetna.
